Action Grange Panel

The Action Grange Panel held Saturday Oct 25th at State Session in Lancaster NH was well received.  Members from Antrim, Chichester, Walpole and Wattanick Granges fielded questions from the Delegate body regarding how implementing ideas learned from the Action Grange program has worked within their respective Granges.

Below are documents from the respective Action Granges.  One of these documents answer questions regarding certain aspects of what has been learned from Action Grange.  The other document contains changes that each of the Action Granges has made with their meeting structure and ritual work.

Action II Seminar – a Great Success

NH Action Grange II Seminar Pictures

The Action II Seminar held at Webster, NH, August 22-24, 2003, was a great success! Thirty-one team members from MA, NH, NY, and VT participated as well as three State Masters and their spouses, a State Overseer, and a Membership Director.

Sally Crossiar, the facilitator, led everyone through a weekend jam-packed with ideas to help their Granges grow. As Sally predicted, she offered people tools to assess the current realities in their Granges; create a vision that will guide their Granges to a strong future; identify positive possibilities to better serve current members, potential members, and their communities; develop goals that could turn their vision into reality; build their team’s leadership capacity; and increase fun to be had in Grange. Sally warned that members would leave the seminar tired but energized with new ideas and plans, and she was very right! From the opening “get to know you” session (complete with an ice cream social) through Sunday’s sharing of thoughts and good bys, the weekend proved most rewarding. Everyone especially enjoyed the delicious meals hosted by the NH State Grange Operations Department with Dot Haskins as chief cook and planner. Now participants have headed out to put into practice the ideas they’ve picked up to assure that their Granges grow and thrive.
